Things to Start Doing for Your S.O., Now

I subscribe to a site called Houzz, which is a great place to look for ideas for decorating and remodeling your homes. You can submit your own pictures and get advice from other users, read or write reviews of local contractors, and sigh over all those beautiful things that you will never have. This week, one of the featured posts was from an editor for the site which was partly funny, partly true. Note: the writer of the piece is a father, husband, writer. He’s pretty good to avoid referring to her/him, although from the comments, it’s pretty clear that people think most of these are done by men. However, I’m guilty of some of them but since I live alone, who cares? Also, this is one site where you can read comments without having your brain explode.
