Last week I had dinner and drinks at a great little places called Faces & Names, located in midtown Manhattan, near my hotel. We found it by accident (well, through TripAdvisor “close to me” search). Nice meal, good selection of beers, and super pleasant waitress. But this guy kept staring at me!

Willem DaFoe – This painting is about 5 feet tall. The chin and the nose are 3-D extending out from the surface of the canvas about an inch. He stared at me all through dinner.
There were a number of paintings scattered through the restaurant: Samuel Jackson, Bob Marley, and these guys

The decor sounds wonderful.
Loved the excitement of NYC on both my visits there. Just so much to see and do and not enough time.
