Or should I say cafe?
Cruise ships to Livorno stop at another unlovely industrial port, where we could watch container ships following tugboats out to see. A short bus ride later, and we find ourselves in the seaside town, enjoying a coffee, pastry, and free wifi.
After I finish my second espresso, I’m going to jitter my way over to the bus stop for the 16 mile ride into Piza, where I shall not have my picture taken trying to hold it up. I’m more interested in seeing the project to shore up the structural foundations.
Ciao!

“unlovely industrial port”? Sorry but this is very wrong, you should really get some more information about Livorno and the incredible foreign communities who lived in the city for centuries.
You should probably re-read my post. The port itself, where the ships dock, is not pretty. I thought the rest of the city was quite lovely.
