I though I’d share his photograph from my daughter’s birthday party in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
We went old school with pin the tail on the donkey, and my daughter Evelyn (now Dr.Evelyn Mervine, MIT graduate) was not even close. She works now as a geologist, looking for gold and diamonds, and does a much better job at finding things.
The sad part is that I am standing there, pointing where she should be putting the tail.
It doesn’t matter, moms are always there try to help out.
It should be noted she later worked as an assistant to James “The Amazing” Randi, and he showed her how you can peek down your nose while wearing one of these eye covers. So she no longer has problems finding where the tail goes.
