One thing I dislike about living in New Hampshire is our late Spring. Easter bunnies made out of snow are common. This year has been very mild, but I still miss the cherry blossoms of Washington DC where I was born.
To remind me of Spring, I’m posting photographs not of the DC cherry trees, but one of the beautiful cherry trees in Paris. The trees actually have guards when they bloom, so no one steals the flowers. However, children are allowed to pick up flowers from the ground that have fallen off. So, here’s to Spring, however late it may be!
