While we enjoy our cabin through the Fall, and until the first frost, for many their days on the lake are over.  Once school starts, boats on the lake are quite rare, especially during the weekdays.

The last week before school started were very windy, which meant the sailboats were out.  Being surrounded by mountains lakes in NH are generally very calm.  It was nice to see more sailboats than jet skis for a change.

Sailboats have right of way, so it takes careful boating skills to avoid them! Not every sailboat captain is experienced.
